(Last try Skate School) Terms & Conditions

 

These are the Terms and Conditions on which AEES COACHING Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides skateboard sessions within school grounds schools to you, the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking sessions with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Teaching policies and procedures


  1. AEES COACHING Ltd Skate School provides qualified coaches all of whom have:                                                                                                                  Enhanced DBS checks;                                                                                                                                                                                            Emergency First-Aid At Work training;                                                                                                                                                                Safeguarding training;                                                                                                                                                                                              Completed the Skateboard GB coaching course.

  2. AEES COACHING Ltd coaches teach a programme focusing on supporting the participant and aiding correct technique through demonstration and assistance.

  3. Children attending the club agree to follow club rules including anti bullying. Mis- behaviour will be reviewed and if continued maybe ask to leave the club.

  4. It is mandatory for all participants under the age of 12 at AEES COACHING Ltd to wear a helmet + Other protective gear such as wrist guards, Knee & Elbow pads when skateboarding. 

  5. Equipment such as pads, boards and helmets can be provided on the basis that it returned after the session without damage 

  6. The Ramps are all built for beginners. Children must be vigilant when using equipment they have not skated before. Please ask the coach if unsure. 

  7. If a participant requires a skateboard or other safety equipment such as a helmet and/or knee & elbow pads for a lesson we must be informed prior to the lesson taking place.

  8. Appropriate attire must be worn for skateboard lessons. Regular clothing and shoes. No open toe footwear. Jewelry should be taken off before lesson begins.

  9. Sessions can be booked directly through our release forms. This must be completed before participants begin lessons.

  10. Skateboarding is an extreme sport and carries its associated risks. AEES COACHING Ltd Skate School and its coaches are not responsible for accidents or injury, including death incurred during sessions.

  11. It is our policy to endeavour to provide a temporary replacement coach in the event of any instructor absence and we reserve the right to replace coaches if necessary.

  12. AEES COACHING Ltd skateboard classes can only take place when weather conditions allow i.e dry tarmac/ sunny conditions

  13. In the case of poor weather alternative active activity will take place to replace skateboarding. We will inform you if this is the case via email/text. 

  14. ​AEES COACHING Ltd will endeavour to provide at least 24hr notice of any classes taking place when cancelled by us for any reason. Notification of cancelled classes is made via email/ text message.

  15. Children attending our afterschool club must be picked up by a registered parent/guardian.

  16. AEES COACHING Ltd Skate School retains a Public Liability Insurance Policy, a copy of which is held at the company’s head office.

  17. AEES COACHING Ltd Skate School retains a Health & Safety Policy, a copy of which is held at the company’s head office and is available upon request.

  18. AEES COACHING Ltd Skate School retains a Data Protection Policy, a copy of which is held at the company’s head office and is available upon request.

  19. AEES COACHING Ltd Skate School retains a Safeguarding Policy, a copy of which is held at the company’s head office and is available upon request.

  20. AEES COACHING Ltd Skate School reserves the right to cancel, amend Lessons and any other activities hosted for any reason.

 

Booking and payment conditions

  1. A contract consisting of these terms and conditions will exist between us when you make a booking with us.

  2. All correspondence will be with the person named on the confirmation e-mail who accepts the following conditions on behalf of all participants.

  3. The contract between us is governed by English Law and any dispute will be dealt with under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  4. AEES COACHING Ltd Skate School runs lessons each week (term time only) Term length can vary unless stated otherwise.

  5. AEES COACHING Ltd Skate School operates a ‘termly Payment’ system for group classes. ’Term payments’ are charged at the beginning of each term.

      6. You must pay for sessions in accordance with the following terms. We accept credit/Debit BACS transfers. We do not accept cash or cheques.

      7. Weekly sessions

  • Payment is due in full at the time of booking, we do not accept part payments




    8. Late Payments

  • AEES COACHING Ltd reserves the right to suspend or cancel sessions if payment is late.


    9. Persistent Non-Payment

  • Accounts overdue by 30 days may be referred to a collection agency or pursued through small claims.

  • Any reasonable collection costs will be added to your balance.

  • Future bookings may be cancelled if your account remains unpaid.


    10.Disputed Charges

  • Notify us of any disputed charge within seven days of the invoice date.

  • If an error is found, we will correct or credit the amount.

                                                              


   11. AEES COACHING Ltd skate school can offer private tuition on an ad-hoc basis please speak to the skateboard coach.


   12. AEES COACHING Ltd skate school charges for any private session cancelled with less than 24 hours notice of the lesson taking place or unattended by you.

   13. AEES COACHING Ltd skate school charges 50% of the booking cost if cancelled within those 24 hours 


   14. AEES COACHING Ltd skate school does not charge for lessons or other activities that are cancelled by us for any reason. The cost of the cancelled class will be credited/ refunded from your ‘termly Payment’ if this is applicable. 

   15. AEES COACHING Ltd skate school issues invoices to receive payments for lessons. Invoices are sent before the term begins. You will have 30 days to make payment of the invoice.

   16. AEES COACHING Ltd skate school charges a 10% late payment fee for each 30 days an invoice is outstanding.

   17. AEES COACHING Ltd skate school reserves the right to decline/reject lessons for any reason.

 

Complaints Procedure

  18. If a client or member of staff wishes to make a complaint they must do so through the appropriate channels.​

  19. All complaints to be made in writing to Alistair Steele or via e-mail to last.try.skateschool@gmail.com

  20. All complaints will be raised and dealt with accordingly.

  21. Liability

  • AEES COACHING Ltd is not responsible for loss or damage to property at sessions venues.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.




  22. Other Important Terms

  • AEES COACHING Ltd may transfer its rights under this contract but will notify you if we do.

  • If a court finds any term unlawful, the rest remain in force.

  • If we delay enforcing these Terms, we can still enforce them later.

  • These Terms are governed by English law and disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.

By booking sessions, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
