About

Today triathlon club in schools offers children around Cambridgeshire and beyond the opportunity to be involved in coached bike and run group sessions on a weekly basis focusing on fine tuning all skills needed for triathlon, ultimately increasing fitness through games and play.

We offer school coached group sessions as a before or after-school club and school swim sessions subject to venue hire. (Please note) swimming starts between summer half term and end of summer term when the weathers more favourable.

Other services:- Our weekly swim sessions are held in a 25m Heated pool Bottisham sports centre (CB25 9DJ) Tuesday evenings 6:15-7:15pm and Thursdays between 5-6pm. If you’d like to give it a try please contact todaytriathlonclub@gmail.com

Growing up from a swim background Ive taken my skills into junior triathlon coaching. I’m a qualified swim England coach and in my spare time enjoy taking part in regional bike races and cyclocross events.

  • Phoebe Gilderdale

BTF Coach & Swim England Teacher

I've loved swimming since a young age and have grown up cycling in Cambridge. Working in the coaching team is really rewarding and I love seeing our students develop new skills and gain confidence in the sport.

  • Emily Dyra

    Swim/Bike/Run leader

Working with children is a passion in my life. In my spare time I volunteer helping run a local cubs group. My hobbies outside of work are playing hockey, going for bike rides, raising money for local charity with long walks. Family is very important to me.

  • Julie Buckingham

    BTF Coach

I was a latecomer to sport, having started running in 2002 after having two sons, but was soon addicted. My sons joined Cambridge triathlon club around 2005 and I soon got involved firstly as a parent helper then a coach and finally an athlete myself. If you can’t beat them, join them!! Now 20 years later, I have retired from racing but still enjoy swimming, cycling and running to keep up with my two grandsons (so far!) and offset my love of cake! Inspiring others to try sport is now a big passion of mine as I have had so much fun over the years!
